Chris Brown Pays Tribute to Michael Jackson (2010 BET AWARDS)

The goosebumps on my skin is clearly not enough to demonstrate the way I felt about Chris Brown's tribute to Michael Jackson. It was by far the BEST tribute I seen to him thus far. Chris Brown did an excellent job of bringing to life the performer that we all loved in Michael Jackson. It was so nice to finally see him do a tribute the RIGHT way. Seeing as though he wasn't allowed to do it last year the wait was worth it. You can definitely feel his emotions in the ending, that song is just one of Michael songs that he holds close to his heart. Congrats Chris, you made Michael proud.

Sanrio x Dr. Martens 50th Anniversary Collection

To celebrate the label’s 50th Anniversary, Dr. Martens has not only tapped into one of its heritage influences, music, but also joined hands with one of the contemporary world’s biggest pop icon beloved by fans ages nine to 99, Hello Kitty, and her Sanrio critter gang. The collection is set to hit select Dr. Martens retailers such as Nordstroms in limited numbers. Apparently, Dr. Martens may have hit middle age, but has proven that it can still be playful, young at heart and tough all at the same time.

Ralph Lauren "Big Pony" Fragrance

Ralph Lauren revealed his new fragrance project titled, ‘Big Pony’. According to WWD: Ralph Lauren is making a departure and leading a quartet of scents aimed at young, hip men into the retail arena this summer. Intended for men 18 to 30 years old, the collection takes inspiration from the designer’s Big Pony shirts, ready-to-wear polos embroidered with an oversize version of Ralph Lauren’s signature polo-player logo. The four fragrances are intended to represent the key passions of young men, noted Guillaume de Lesquen, worldwide president of Ralph Lauren Fragrances: sport, seduction, adventure and style. The number four has additional significance, as it is the number of players on a polo team. Slated to release in July exclusively on ralphlauren.com, and then will hit distribution at about 2,500 department and specialty store doors in the U.S. in August.

Ninjasonik for Mishka Summer/Spring 2010 Commercial

I was soo hyped about this post, when i saw this i was happy!! So, one summer my Bronx shorty (j.k) put me on to a group called, Ninjasonik and I haven't turned back since then!! I love them! Dead ass, if you don't know about them look em up, its the FUCKIN NINJAS!! My cousin calls them the hood hippes. Which is totally cool with me cause i Love hippies :) 

A Little while ago I posted the Mishka's 2010 Summer/Spring Lookbook (here) we'll here is Ninjasonik displaying the collection in Mishka's Summer / Spring 2010 commercial... i just love these guys, even if they don' t say a word. The short infomercial includes guy and girl models decked out in graphic t-shirts, pullover hoodies, and flannel. The fun and straight-to-the point approach brings out the best in both parties and captures the two at their very best. Music provided by Ninjasonick, of course.
